Overview

What is a Wago cable assembly?

A Wago cable assembly is a set of wires or cables prepared for, or terminated in, Wago connectors. Wago is known for spring-pressure connections, in which a steel spring presses the conductor against a current bar instead of a screw. Its range includes TOPJOB S rail-mount terminal blocks, 221 lever splicing connectors and MCS pluggable connectors, used in control cabinets, machinery, lighting and building installation.

  • Spring clamping with no screws to retighten
  • Strip lengths matched to each terminal
  • Pluggable connectors for fast installation
  • Lever splicing for solid or stranded wire

Features

Spring clamps, not screws

With no screw to tighten, a Wago connection depends on the wire being prepared correctly. These are the details we control on every lead.

  • Constant clamping force

The clamping spring keeps steady pressure on the conductor, so the connection resists loosening from vibration and temperature changes over time.

  • Exact strip lengths

Each Wago terminal calls for a set strip length, so the conductor clamps fully without bare copper showing outside the housing.

  • Ferrules where needed

Fine-stranded wire fitted with ferrules can be pushed straight into push-in terminals, and the ferrule keeps strands from splaying.

  • Pluggable connections

MCS and other Wago pluggable connectors let a pre-wired lead plug into its mate, then unplug for service without disturbing the wiring.

Capabilities

Our Wago assembly capabilities

We prepare and terminate conductors in our own factories and check them against your drawing, so Wago connections go together cleanly on site.

Precise stripping

Wire cut to length and stripped to the dimension each Wago terminal specifies, without nicked strands or leftover insulation.

Ferrule crimping

Insulated or uninsulated ferrules crimped onto fine-stranded wire with tooling sized to each ferrule, ready for push-in terminals.

Connector termination

Leads terminated in Wago pluggable, splicing and PCB connectors, with each conductor checked for full insertion and secure clamping.

Wire marking

Printed wire markers and labels applied to match your terminal plan, so installers can land each conductor without guesswork.

Supply and sourcing

Genuine Wago connectors and accessories sourced through our supply network, with approved equivalents used only where your drawing allows them.

Checks before shipment

Continuity, wiring-order and conductor retention checks, run to the plan agreed in your quote before each order ships.

Why Pecko

Why OEMs choose Pecko

A manufacturing partner should make your program simpler. These are the reasons customers bring their assemblies to Pecko, and keep them here.

  • Expertise and experience

Wire harness and cable assembly work since 1981, across 20 industries and 25,000+ projects.

  • Quick turnarounds

Clear quotes, confirmed schedules and regular updates, from the first prototype to every production release.

  • High flexibility

Engineering changes, revisions and schedule shifts handled without starting your program over.

  • Cost-effectiveness

Design-for-manufacture advice, global sourcing and efficient processes keep your unit cost down.

  • Small and large volumes

From a handful of prototypes to high-volume production, with capacity across three factories.

  • Caring customer service

A team that answers technical questions quickly and follows your program from quote to delivery.

Applications

Where Wago assemblies are used

You will find Wago connections wherever wiring has to go in quickly and stay secure without retightening.

  • Control cabinets

Pre-cut, ferruled and marked wire sets for terminal blocks, relays and power supplies on DIN rail.

  • Lighting systems

Pluggable leads and splices connecting drivers, luminaires and controls in commercial lighting installations.

  • Building installation

Pre-assembled cables that plug together on site for power and lighting circuits in offices, hotels and stores.

  • HVAC equipment

Internal wiring for fans, heaters, controllers and sensors in air handlers and heat pumps.

  • Industrial machinery

Machine sensor, motor and control wiring, prepared to land directly in terminal blocks.

  • Rail and transit

Cabinet and equipment wiring on rolling stock, where constant vibration favors spring-clamp connections.

Quality

Quality built into every connection

Quality is designed into the process rather than inspected in at the end. Every program follows the same four steps, in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment.

  1. Agree the specification

We review your drawing, materials and acceptance criteria with you before anything is built.

  2. Prove the first article

A prototype or first article confirms fit, form and function before production starts.

  3. Build to documented processes

Production follows documented work instructions at every step, from cutting to final assembly.

  4. Test before it ships

Every order is tested against the plan agreed in your quote before it leaves the factory.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

Can't find your answer? Send us your drawing and questions, and our engineers will come back to you.

Which Wago connector families can you work with?

We prepare and terminate wire for Wago's common ranges, including TOPJOB S rail-mount terminal blocks, 221 lever splicing connectors and MCS pluggable connectors, along with other series named on your drawing. Send the part numbers, or describe the wires and conductor types, and our engineers will confirm a suitable combination.

Do Wago terminals need ferrules on stranded wire?

Not always. Wago's CAGE CLAMP and lever-operated connectors accept solid, stranded and fine-stranded wire without ferrules. Push-in terminals take solid wire, or fine-stranded wire fitted with a ferrule, by direct insertion, while bare fine-stranded wire needs the clamp opened first. We fit ferrules wherever your drawing specifies them.

Can you supply wire sets ready for a control cabinet?

Yes. We can cut, strip, ferrule and mark each conductor to your wiring list, then bundle the set by device or terminal group so installers can land each wire quickly. Send your wiring list or panel drawing, and our engineers will confirm the details before we quote.

How are Wago cable assemblies checked before shipment?

Checks follow the test plan agreed in your quote. Typical steps include confirming strip lengths and ferrule crimps, a light pull on each clamped conductor to prove it is held, continuity and wiring-order tests, and a visual check against your drawing before the order ships.
